With lovely rural balcony views, head out and explore the best wineries this area has to offer, or remain at your doorstop to enjoy the Balaklava races and scenic rural surrounds.
While purpose-built as a family home, our accommodation in the Clare Valley offers cosy rooms that are available all year round. The Matchbox House Bed & Breakfast is a unique stand alone terrace house that has been recently restored. It is the destination of choice for couples and families as it lends itself to a whole house booking, which is also an economical option.
Located in the beautiful, quiet town of Balaklava, and conveniently close to Auburn, the Clare Valley, and Watervale, we aim to make every visitor feel at home. Overlooking the racetrack, rural views can be enjoyed from the balcony with a coffee or a glass of wine, and located at 2 George St., in the centre of Balaklava.
Our bed and breakfast is just a short (approx 1 hour) drive from Adelaide and is the perfect weekend getaway, or a wonderful way to experience the Balaklava races and other local attractions.
